1. Where were you born and raised?
   I was born in Madison and raised in Westfield, Wisconsin.
2. If you weren’t a singer, what profession would you be in?
   I love studying language (I have a minor in linguistics), so if I could work as a field linguist, especially with people whose language isn’t well-documented, that would be really cool.
3. The first opera I was ever in was…
   First Lady in The Magic Flute.
4. My favorite opera is…
   Rusalka is definitely at the top of my list. Dvořák is one of my favorite composers.
5. My favorite food to cook is…
   Anything with pesto!
6. People would be surprised to know that…
   I’m a Type 1 Diabetic – my pancreas went kaput on me about 11 years ago, and I wear an insulin pump.
7. If I could be in any fairy-tale, I would be in…
   The Chronicles of Narnia.
8. I like to binge-watch…
   The Great British Baking Show, Psych, and all of the cute puppy videos YouTube has to offer.
9. What four people (living or deceased) would you like to invite for a dinner party?
   C.S. Lewis, Julie Andrews, Mike Rowe, and the apostle Paul.
10. Everyone should see Rusalka because….
    The music is absolutely STUNNING. This is one of those shows that just makes me weep…
