OPERA IN THE PARK 2020 IS GOING DIGITAL!
SATURDAY, JULY 25, 2020
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the safety of our community both in the park and on the stage, Opera in the Park is going digital this summer.
While we cannot be together in person, we will not let summer pass by without gathering for opera, even if it is in backyards, rather than the park. In the coming months, we will create an uplifting, inspiring, and entertaining digital Opera in the Park, to be shared on July 25. Soloists will include soprano Karen Slack, soprano Jasmine Habersham, and baritone Weston Hurt. More details will be announced in early July.
A digital Opera in the Park means we can still be together under the same night sky, just not in the same place. Please start planning your backyard picnic and get ready to join us!
