1. 1. Where were you born and raised?
      Fort Collins, Colorado.
   2. What is in your ideal picnic basket?
      I’m newly vegan, so it’s very different than my hot dogs and burgers from a few years ago! Now it would probably be refried bean tacos with cabbage slaw, chips and guacamole, and a cherry pie for dessert.
   3. My most memorable moment performing outside was…
      I sang at a gala in Colorado along the front range at sunset while the wind was blowing as my wife and I sang arias— it was surrealistically idyllic. 
   4. My favorite outdoor performance I’ve attended was…
      Seeing John Legend perform at the Woodlands Pavilion in Texas. That man can SING! Two and a half hours straight and not a hint of strain in the voice. It was amazing.
   5. My favorite summertime activity is…
      Before I lived in Houston, it was hiking in Colorado. Now that I live in Houston, it’s anything that involves air conditioning.
   6. My ideal vacation is…
      A cabin in the Rocky Mountains, probably around the Crested Butte area. It’s some of the most beautiful hiking I’ve ever done.
      Bonus: one question you wish someone would ask you.
      I think I’m a bit boring, so that’s a tough one…
      Q. What jobs have you had other than being a singer?
      A. Throughout college I worked every position you could in a restaurant, as well as being a furniture mover, a roofer, and a bouncer at a bar.
