What is in your ideal picnic basket?
A fresh crusty baguette, an assortment of cheeses, raspberries still warm from ripening in the sun, some sort of fresh salad, and dry sparkling wine or champagne! A bonus would be some really good pie.
My most memorable moment performing outside was…
During my first summer singing at the Santa Fe Opera, a storm blew in during the last act of La Traviata. Since there’s a roof, we didn’t have to stop the performance, and the wind, rain and thunder made Violetta’s death scene so atmospheric!
My favorite outdoor performance I’ve attended was…
Radiohead at Grant Park.
My favorite summertime activity is…
I love hiking, biking, swimming in the lake…
My ideal vacation is…
Spending time with my family in Door County (preferably in a cottage on the lake!).
