recounts the emotional story of a young geisha seduced
and abandoned by an American Navy lieutenant. Set in
a spectacular new production by the acclaimed Japanese
artist, Jun Kaneko, Madison Opera’s production is sure

matched only by Puccini’s breathtaking music. Italian
maestro, Leonardo Vordoni and stage director Leslie
