Madison Opera is holding new chorus auditions for productions in the 2013/14 season and beyond. Chorus members from the 2011-current season do not need to re-audition.
Applicants should prepare one piece of their choice for the audition – an aria, art song, or classical musical theatre piece is acceptable. An accompanist will be provided; please bring your music.

Please note:
The Madison Opera Chorus rehearses regularly beginning approximately
six weeks before a production opens. Chorus members receive an
honorarium for their participation. The 2013/14 season includes Tosca, The Daughter of the Regiment, Dead Man Walking, and Opera in the Park 2014.
STUDIO ARTIST AUDITIONS
Studio Artists auditions for the 2013/14 season have concluded. Studio Artist auditions are generally held in Madison in April or May. For more information about the Madison Opera Studio Artist program, click here.
PRINCIPAL ARTIST AUDITIONS
Mainstage auditions are generally held in Madison in November or December.
